Josh with Tree Tactics was highly recommended to me and I am extremely pleased with their work. I had a handful of trees that needed limbing, some were completely removed, and some were topped. After multiple experiences with other arborists around Humboldt Bay, I have 100% decided Tree Tactics is my go to. They are highly skilled professionals. They know what they are doing, and how to do. They analyzed what many other arborists viewed as a tricky situation of alders growing in spruce branches, and having to drop the very large spruce tree in a narrow space. They managed a unique strategy precuting the alders in such a way that the spruce and alders would all fall in the same place together. They took their time, decided how to approach the situation and examined every angle. The execution was flawless and everything went exactly how they planned. Managing to get the job done at an affordable price. Their business ethics are on point, and they were extremely kind and authentic people. I'm impressed. 100% recommended.

Josh met me at the site of the tree where our new drone had been stuck about 30 ft off the ground. He made a most challenging retrieval seem easy. I highly recommend this company.

Tree Tactics removed a large Cedar tree from my front yard today. I selected them based on the reviews I saw here. I would recommend them without hesitation. They are reliable, showed up on time, made quick work of a large job, cleaned up, and the price was very reasonable. Josh and his crew arethe best.

Josh is amazing. He is a very skilled faller and climber, professional, honest, conscientious, hard-working, polite and dependable. Communication was good. His prices are reasonable (comparatively - this is very dangerous, high-risk work). It is amazing what he can do within the confines of fences, power lines, buildings, etc. Based on our outstanding experience with him, we will use only him for any future, complicated falling and/or limbing.

I noticed Josh was essentially a neighbor, so I gave him a call as I had a maple I wanted to take down that was too close to the house for my comfort level. About 3 hrs later he dropped by and was done with that and three other small trees in about an hr. No more weird trees planted in the middle of the yard...would totally hire him again, but there's only one tree left...maybe, when I'm too old to prune them I'll give him a call.

This was a huge Pine tree looming over a house, fence, phone lines and street. Josh and crew did an awesome job safely removing this tree. No damage anywhere and a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Tree Tactics.

I am posting this because of the great experience I had recently using Tree Tactics. Early Sunday afternoon I discovered a very large, very heavy pine branch had partially broken off and was threatening to come down and take out the roof of an adjacent structure. I called a number of different tree trimmers but since it was Sunday I really didn't expect to get a hold of anyone, let alone get someone to come out that day. Josh (the company owner) did come out, though, and took it down late that afternoon in a very careful, methodical way that demonstrated both experience and thoughtfulness. Not only was he professional but he didn't gouge me for coming out on such short notice on a Sunday--super reasonable price. Josh is the man to call in an emergency or otherwise! I am planning on having him come back out to take down the pines that caused the problem in the first place.
